After a long wait, the Greater Noida West Metro has got the approval of the Central Government and it is being speculated that its construction work is going to start soon.
The Greater Noida West Metro Project, which is an extension of the Aqua Line, was awaited for a long time, now the central government's Public Investment Board (PIB) has passed its budget and if reports are to be believed, the government has approved the project. Along with the approval, the central government has also asked to invest 20% in the project and the construction work of this project will start soon.
Aqua Line Metro Project is a proposed metro project to connect Noida and Greater Noida West, which will cost about 2200 crores to complete. This metro route will connect Noida Sector 51 and Knowledge Park V with Noida Extension and there will be a total of 9 stations in this route. And this route will be 14.95 km long.
Greater Noida West Metro project
As you know, this project will be 14.95 km long and will have 9 stations, in the first phase there will be a 9.15 km long elevated track, in which there will be five metro stations and in the second phase there will be four metro stations.
And it is estimated that the work of this project will start from March 2023 and this project will be ready by December 2024. Tender will be given to the construction companies soon. This will be the first metro station in the whole country, which will be in Gaur City, there is no four-storey metro station in the whole country before this.
